Traditional Tea
Traditional teas in Phu Yen are sold in the market for 5,000 VND per cup, with a variety of choices such as banana tea, corn tea, jackfruit tea or ginseng. The tea cups are plump, the ingredients are all from fresh fruits, so they are loved by tourists.

Flannel
Tea goods are often sold with flan, ordered on a two-cake plate, priced at 10,000 VND. Homemade flan, smelling of eggs, when eating, the owner will pour two more teaspoons of black to reduce the sweetness. The aroma of coffee combined with fatty coconut milk is typical of flan shops in Phu Yen.

Chives soup cake
Bowls of soup filled with chives are typical of Phu Yen and the South Central coast, which can be found everywhere in the city. A portion of soup cake with 6-7 pieces of fried fish cakes costs 25,000 VND, enough to fill the stomach of people with weak appetite. Fish cakes are made from many types such as flag fish, termites, and barracuda, depending on the sea season. After pounding the fish, the seller adds some spices such as pepper and then divides it into pieces and fries it.
The noodles of the soup cake are made from rice flour or filtered flour. The filter flour is tougher and the rice flour fibers are larger, whiter and softer. Banh Canh broth is pork bone simmer, when eating, visitors should add chili, fish sauce and lemon for the best experience. According to the seller, most of the food in the market is homemade rolls and cakes, so the price is cheap, and the ingredients are fresh.

Chicken rice
Chicken rice is also the dish that makes up the Phu Yen culinary brand. Visitors can find some of the more famous chicken rice shops in the city but the experience in the market is not inferior.
A plate of chicken rice in the market costs 25,000 VND, including rice, chicken thighs and a bowl of soup to accompany it. The rice grains are flexible, bearing the yellow color of the fat thanks to being cooked with chicken broth. The chicken is firm, sweet, and much tastier when dipped with the typical garlic and chili fish sauce. Phu Yen people often bite into fresh chili or garlic when eating chicken rice, but this type of eating may not be suitable for many tourists from far away.

Cauldron cakes, duckweed cakes and question cakes
These three types of cakes are usually sold in the same counter, visitors can order at the same time to enjoy, the price is 10,000 VND per plate.
Duckweed cakes are made from rice flour, steamed and usually sold in cups, but in the market, they are often sold on plates, accompanied by cakes. When eating, visitors fill themselves with sweet and sour fish sauce according to their taste. Each plate of cake comes with shrimp flakes.
The cauldron cake is also a familiar gift for the childhood of many Phu Yen people. This dish is made from filtered flour, so when eaten, it feels rough, with shrimp or mung bean filling, served with onion fat water.

Grilled spring roll
There are two types of grilled spring rolls in Phu Yen, one is served with grilled spring rolls in Ninh Hoa, Nha Trang; other types are served with Tuy Hoa-style grilled spring rolls. Ninh Hoa spring rolls are often skewered, grilled on a charcoal stove, while Tuy Hoa spring rolls are grilled in large chunks, when sold, cut into small pieces. Both types are made from pork, seasoned and soft as patties, not crispy like Hanoi spring rolls.
A roll is about 10 cm long, with grilled spring rolls, crispy rice cakes, raw vegetables, cucumbers and is tightly rolled by the seller with a thick piece of rice paper on the outside. When eating, visitors dip it with sweet and sour chili fish sauce, sprinkle with crushed peanuts. Each book costs 10,000 VND.
