Autumn can be clearly felt in the chill, a little bit of early morning happiness, less harsh rays of the sun, and fruits that could not be more seductive - persimmons.

Rose garden full of fruits 'dyed' Moc Chau autumn orange

The crispy and astringent rose gardens begin to ripen, attracting tourists to Moc Chau to take photos, admire the scenery and buy fruits as gifts.

In mid-October, rose and plum orchards in Moc Chau began to open their doors to visitors. This is not a bad suggestion if you want to take a short trip in the cool autumn, departing from Hanoi. At this time, most of the persimmons are fully ripe, the ticket price to the garden is 30,000 VND per person.

From the capital, visitors take a bus or motorbike to Na Ka plum valley, one of the famous places for plum blossoms and persimmons in the last months of the year.

There are two types of Moc Chau persimmons: crispy persimmons and bitter persimmons. Persimmons ripen around November – December, a little difficult to eat. Some fruits are almost inedible because they are too astringent. However, it is a favorite decoration for many people. Many places sell whole persimmon branches with fruits for customers to take home as gifts or in the house.

As for crispy persimmons, they taste sweeter and taste better. Currently, the price of Moc Chau crispy persimmons is about 25,000 - 30,000 VND per kg. In addition to fresh persimmons, many families make persimmons to hang in the wind when they are in season.
