Photographer Can Van Phu, 33 years old living in Da Lat, had a wild photo shoot in Don Duong and Duc Trong districts on October 29. He visited D'ran town and Lac Xuan, Tu Tra, Da Ron communes of Don Duong district and then Lien Khuong airport, Duc Trong district, and said that wild anemones had bloomed on the roads in Lam Dong.
Wild anemone, also known as chrysanthemum, belongs to the chrysanthemum family, is a wild flower that grows on the side of the road, halfway through the hills and mountains, when blooming, it is dark yellow. The flowering season starts around the end of October to the end of November every year.
The hillsides and gardens of people near the Lien Khuong expressway area, Duc Trong district are dyed with wildflowers.
"This year, many places have flowers blooming more beautifully than last year, but there are also places where there are no flowers cut down by people to plant other trees," Phu said.
According to Phu, the ideal time to take photos with wildflowers is from 5:30 to 7:30, when the sun rises, the light is moderate. Because there are not many people taking pictures at this time, visitors have many "virtual life" corners, not crowded.
Da Ron commune is visited and photographed by many tourists and photographers because of the many wild anemones and fresh air. However, recently, the area of wildflowers has been shrinking due to the emergence of many greenhouses.
Prenn Pass and Lien Khuong Expressway is loved by many young people because it is close to the center of Da Lat. Visitors should take a motorbike here to conveniently move into the small roads on the slopes, where there are many flowers.
There are two directions to get to the wildflower viewing spot on Lien Khuong highway. From Da Lat city, visitors follow the Momisa pass through the toll booth, continue along National Highway 20. In the second direction from Lien Khuong airport, along the Lien Khuong - Da Lat highway for about 10 km, you will see wild anemones blooming in yellow.
National Highway 20 passes through Phu Hiep Pass and the section into Di Linh town, Di Linh district, about 80 km from Da Lat, is also a road not to be missed when taking photos of wildflowers. The road has many flowers growing on the hillsides, on both sides of the road and alternating between pine forests.
This route is convenient to move to Da Lat, which is loved by many tourists as a place to take wedding photos.
In Da Lat City, spots such as Dalat University (Phu Dong Thien Vuong Street) or from Dinh 3 (Trieu Viet Vuong Street) to the clay tunnel and Tuyen Lam Lake, wildflowers also bloom beautifully.
In addition to Lam Dong, wildflowers are also blooming in the Central Highlands provinces. In the photo is the yellow-covered scene at Chu Dang Ya volcano, Chu Dang Ya commune, Chu Pah district. The mountain is about 30 km northeast of the center of Pleiku city, Gia Lai, and is known as the paradise of wildflowers.
Wildflower Festival - Chu Dang Ya Volcano is held in November every year, is one of the 10 most attractive destinations in Gia Lai, attracting many tourists to take pictures.
