Blue Diamond Camp has many activities that keep you busy all day. One of those experiences was a wind-powered boat ride on the stream. Here, you can also kayak or SUP, swim in the stream, relax in the treehouse area or walk on the elevated suspension bridges connecting the tent areas.
The whole area has 9 camp sites, named after flowers. Each area has a covered campsite, shelter from rain and sun, comfortable toilets. Guests can camp in a sheltered area or in a paddock, optionally. The climate in Quang Binh is hot and windy, but thanks to the cooling system with insulated pipes connected underground to the tent locations, blowing cool air from the bunker below to each tent, the night is not hot.
Cold water cellars have a depth of 2-3 m, clean water is pumped into the cellar, then roofed and insulated to avoid heat absorption from outside. When the water is deep underground, the temperature will always remain at the same level as the temperature inside a natural cave, such as Son Doong cave.
The underground swimming pool simulates the underground river system inside the cave such as in Tu Lan, En cave or Son Doong cave ... The pool also has 3 openings to catch sunlight, just like from the giant sinkhole inside the cave.
Guests can choose a day or overnight experience. If camping overnight, there will be more activities such as BBQ dinners or group activities. Dishes at the camp in the evening. If you only experience it during the day, you will not enjoy a special dinner like this.
An elevated suspension bridge connects the tent areas. The bridge has a total length of 770 m, designed about 1 m from the ground to avoid stepping on vegetation in the forest and avoid contact with mud when it rains, the bridge deck is thick, solid wooden boards connected together. Waking up in the morning, fresh air, after jogging sitting breakfast in the middle of the forest is interesting.
