Blue Diamond Camp has a variety of activities that keep you busy all day. One of those experiences is riding a wind-powered boat on a stream. Here, you can also kayak or SUP, swim in the stream, relax in the treehouse area or walk on the overhead suspension bridges that connect the campsites.
The whole area has 9 campsites, bearing the names of flowers. Each area has a covered campsite, protected from rain and sun, and a comfortable toilet area. Visitors can camp in a sheltered place or in the grounds, optionally. The climate in Quang Binh is hot, with Laotian winds, but thanks to the cooling system with insulated pipes connected underground to the tent locations, blowing cool air from the cellar below leading to each tent, so it is not hot at night.
The cold water cellars have a depth of 2-3 m, clean water is pumped into the cellar, and then roofed and insulated to avoid heat absorption from the outside. When the water is deep underground, the temperature will always remain at the same level as the temperature inside a natural cave, such as Son Doong cave.
The underground swimming pool simulates the underground river system inside the cave such as in the Tu Lan, En cave or Son Doong cave area... The swimming pool also has 3 openings to catch sunlight, just like from a giant sinkhole inside the cave.
Visitors can choose a day or overnight experience. If you camp overnight, there will be more activities such as BBQ dinners or group activities. Food at the campsite in the evening. If you only experience it during the day, you will not be able to enjoy such a special dinner.
An overhead suspension bridge connects the tent areas. The bridge has a total length of 770 m, designed about 1 m from the ground to avoid stepping on the vegetation in the forest and avoiding contact with mud when it rains, the bridge deck is thick wooden panels, which are firmly connected together. Waking up in the morning, the air is fresh, after jogging and having breakfast in the middle of the forest is interesting.
You should spend 3 days and 2 nights on this trip.
