Located quietly on an ancient street crowded with people, the house No. 87 Ma May (Hanoi) has long been a sightseeing spot, experiencing many young people and international tourists who love to visit and learn history.

Nestled in the middle of bustling Ma May Street (Hanoi), ancient house No. 87 surprises visitors with the remaining historical values. This house was built around the end of the nineteenth century on a total land area of 157.6m2, more than 28m long, 5m façade. 


The house has been invested and embellished since the end of 1998, completed on 27/10/1999 with a tubular design, versatile use, narrow horizontally but long deep inside, separated by layers of courtyard.



Outside is a store, without walls but open to the street to display goods. Inside there is a loose courtyard, followed by a back room, warehouse and kitchen. All architectural structures, all-wooden building materials to living objects are kept intact. Ma May Ancient House was a National Heritage Site of Vietnam in 2004.



This is one of 14 ancient houses in Hanoi that still retains its almost intact structure and has been put into conservation and become an attraction for tourists, the entrance fee is 10,000 VND / person.
