Wind power field like the corner of Europe in Bac Lieu

Possessing a coastline of 56km, located in a tropical monsoon climate, Bac Lieu is an ideal land to build wind power fields. Among them, Bac Lieu wind power field located in Vinh Zedong commune, 10km from Bac Lieu city, has the largest scale. This is also the first wind farm of Vietnam and in Southeast Asia to be built on the continental shelf and the largest wind power project in the country. This project is a symbol of Bac Lieu, contributing greatly to the development of the energy industry in particular and the local economy in general.  Wind power fields take advantage of the sea breeze blowing in to produce electricity. Not only providing clean energy, with special beauty, Bac Lieu wind power field has quickly become a tourist attraction for many tourists to enjoy in the journey to explore the Southwest. From Bac Lieu city, to reach the wind power field, you follow Cao Van Lau street to the sea; in the territory of East Sea Hamlet A, Vinh Zedong commune will come to the blower field. On the way you will pass the ancient longan garden, Siamese Pagoda. Currently, the road to the wind power field has been renovated, so it is quite easy to move. Along the way are shrimp and fish farming fields of coastal people.  On a blue background, striking white turbines create a huge pinwheel garden-like scene. In total, there are 62 turbine pillars with a capacity of 16 - 83MW, on an area of 1,300ha. Each turbine pillar has a diameter of 4m, a height of 80m, weighs more than 200 tons, is made of stainless steel. The propeller is made of special plastic, 42m long, equipped with a self-folding system in the event of a heavy storm. Inside is a protective forest that creates a green and fresh scene. On the sea surface there are floating concrete lines that help visitors move easily to the turbine pillars.   Who knew that this place used to be wild lands, vast forests, mangroves, ponds and canals. Since the turbine pillars were erected on the water, the landscape of the land has changed completely with huge wind turbines towering over the eye.  Outside the wind power field, there is an aggressive sea rock fence, preventing landslides . Before the Covid-19 epidemic, the wind power field welcomed about 200 thousand visitors to check-in each year. Once standing among the "giant pinwheel", everyone will feel overwhelmed by the scale and dumbfounded by the poetic beauty of the field. The right time for you to go to Bac Lieu wind power field is early in the morning from 6:00 – 9:00 or after 16:00. This is the most beautiful time of the day.
