Located in the two provinces of Dak Nong and Dak Lak with a total area of more than 115,500 hectares, Yok Don is the only national park in Vietnam that preserves the ecology of dipterocarp forests, featuring broadleaf oiltrees. There are also some rare wood species such as coffee, Christmas incense, rosewood ,... or 17 species of animals recorded in the Red Book of the world such as peacocks, pheasants, twisted horned cows ... Late December, early January, when the box forest changes leaves, is the most beautiful time to visit Yok Don. If you want to get acquainted with the elephants of Don village, fishing Dak Lau stream or watching the old forest change leaves dyed orange yellow by the white waterfalls, this place is a great rendezvous in your journey.

Great place to relax, we were lucky to come off season. Almost nobody outside. Peaceful atmosphere comparing with top season crowded place.
