Villa Del Sol Beach House is an ideal stop that you should not miss. This resort is highly rated for its location next to Phan Thiet beach, which has its own beach.
The infinity pool here has a direct view of the beautiful Phan Thiet beach, surrounded by rows of green coconuts that bring fresh air. The water in the swimming pool is treated periodically and in accordance with standards. In particular, behind the infinity pool are benches and wooden huts for you to lie in the sun and relax.

Upon our arrival we where greeting with a complimentary welcome drink and told that your room was still being prepared for us ( we had arrived a little early ) and asked if we wanted to stroll around the gardens or have an early lunch. We chose an early lunch as we had left home quite early and felt the need to some sustenance.
During our lunch a representative came to our table handed us the door card and said our room was ready. So after lunch we eagerly came to our room to see how it compared with our last stay at Villa Del Sol a couple of years earlier.
The room was great approximately 60 square metres with a really huge bathroom and a view of the pool and glimpses to the ocean. It was well presented and clean, a good start to our time at the resort.
The beach was a little disappointing as a sand bank had formed off shore giving the resulting beach a fairly heavy undertow. Not a beach for small children as they can easily be swept of their feet. Also the beach had noticeably more rubbish than we remembered from our last visit which is a pity. It would be nice if some authority would be set up to sweep the sand and remove the debris as it does detract from the overall ambiance but this is not a criticism of the resort rather a comment of the beach front itself.
We wanted a relaxing family break with time spent at the beach, in the pool etc and then going too the restaurant for meal breaks. After about three meals there we started looking at alternatives for lunch and dinner. The resort food just didn t deliver, lacking in seasoning and overall quality for the price quite expensive. We would not have minded the cost if the food was good but it was ordinary which is a real shame as the ambiance of the restaurant was very relaxing and inviting.
One visits Villa Del Sol because one wants a really nice room, a very pleasant walking experience in the surrounding gardens and good food. we had to settle for two out of three and hope that our next visit the management listens and creating a great dinning experience as the resort deserves this and quite frankly so to it s guests.
