It s true what they say, to experience Sapa, you have to travel out of Sapa and this little lodge consisting of just 5 small chalets & a family bungalow, which we stayed in, will let you live & breathe Sapa. The view was superb, overloou hills and a big stream below. We stayed among villages. The room was clean & beds were comfortable. We had a bathroom attached and there was hot water, soap, towels and toothbrush. The owners served us directly and was friendly and chatted us up. They attended to our needs very quickly. I m holding back another star because the room doesn t have a heater and the fireplace wasn t lit. The twmoery was around 10 degrees Celsius. Coming from the tropics, it was a little to cold to our liking. Also, there was no Wi-Fi. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. If you re coming in winter, do request for a heater as Sapa has been known to snow. I would still recommend to stay here.
