Dong Lam Steppe

Dong Lam steppe belongs to Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district, about 25 km from Lang Son city. This is a destination for tourists who like to take photos and started to be famous about 5 years ago. Dong Lam is most beautiful before the rainy season, usually from 3 to 5 months when the water has not risen, revealing green peninsulas. Trees at this time also sprout, a lot of vitality, cool weather. Recently, visitors are not allowed to drive cars deep into the valley but often have to walk or hire people to bring motorbikes to protect the area ecosystem. There are homestays around Dong Lam for overnight stays. About 2 km from Dong Lam is Bac Mo Dam, which has a pristine scenery with streams and blue lakes. Visitors can come here for a day visit combined with the savannah.
