Tam Coc – Bich Dong, known as "Ha Long Bay on land" or "Nam Thien Second Cave", is a famous national tourist destination of Vietnam, located in Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province, about 100km south of Hanoi. Considered part of Trang An Scenic Complex, Tam Coc - Bich Dong has been classified as a special national monument by the Prime Minister of Vietnam and recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
With a large area of about 350.3ha, this resort is a great combination of limestone mountain cave system and peaceful village scenery. Tam Coc - Bich Dong attracts visitors by the majestic, pristine scenery of soaring limestone mountains, surrounded by the river that winds around like winding arcs.
