Polite Pub is a pub in Hanoi that attracts attention by the name itself, as a lovely greeting. The space is elaborately decorated from posters of famous movies. Every weeknight, Polite Pub plays jazz, a little later on lively rock, or chooses music at the request of guests. If you want to listen to live music, you can come here every weekend to enjoy. They offer a wide choice of whiskey, tequila, draft beer, imported bottled beer and even spontaneous and fun cocktails prepared by bartenders.

This a great place in which to unwind over a cocktail or glass of wine and escape the chaotic bustle of Hanoi. We took full advantage of their Happy Hour and sat back with a Magherita enjoying the background jazz music and the excellent olives. They offer a wider range of food options but these are more accompaniments to the drinks as this is essentially a wine/cocktail bar than a restaurant. A highly recommended ‘escape room’!

Went to this place on a friends recommendation for happy hour (which is 5-8pm daily).
Decor is awesome and the cocktails were great. Really cool atmosphere.
Would be very pricey for Hanoi outside of happy hour but we’ll worth a visit.
It was very busy and staff seemed to lack the massively friendly vibe we’ve experienced everywhere else here. But probably just due to being flat out, they weren’t rude, just not friendly.
Definitely a cool experience :)
