Nestled in an alley on Hai Ba Trung Street, District 1, Noir - Dining in the Dark offers guests the experience of a meal in complete darkness. Visitors just need to relax, use their taste buds to feel the sophistication of the food and let their minds drift to the music.
Before dining, diners are asked to store bags, personal items, phones or things that may glow such as clocks and lighters in a securely locked drawer. Then came a room plunged into darkness with a visually impaired waitress.

We visited the restaurant on the 12th of October & is a good place to goto when in HCMC, book in advance.
We are vegetarians & the food was satisfactory. The ambience inside was unseen but could hear a lotta chatter which may/may not be very calming when you wanna dine at peace or with less chatter around, but guess when one cannot see a thing, all try to maximize the senses by talking & identifying thru words.
I was apprehensive about eating & dropping things but it went smoothly w/t any issues with the stewards serving timely(course by course) & making you feel comfortable with proper guidance of which item/cutlery is placed where.
Overall definitely a one time visit.
