Mang Lang Church

As one of the oldest Catholic churches in the country, Mang Lang Church is a great destination to learn about the design and religious history of Catholics in Vietnam. The Gothic architecture of Mang Lang Church originated in the 13th century with the appearance of many intricate designs and patterns. Mang Lang Church is a great place to visit for history believers because it is home to the "Eight-Day Sermon" written by Alexandre de Rhode, which is the first book ever written in the Vietnamese script, or contemporary Vietnamese script.
