We (couple) were recommended Chan by our hotel. We arrived for Friday lunch and the restaurant was very busy, however the lovely hostess advised if we wait it shouldn’t be too long, so we sat on the verandah and she was right, not long after we were seated. The restaurant was busy with many families and groups and I believe we were the only westerners there. We were made very welcome and Hien helped us to order. We had roasted stuffed squid and deep fried pork with lemongrass, rice and the three condiments that were on the table. The food was delicious, not too spicy but very, very tasty. The menu was extensive, there was plenty to choose from. It’s a shame we don’t live in Hue so we could try everything on the menu! It was very reasonably priced, for our meal and four Hudas it was only A$19! We are in Hue a few more days and we hope to return to try something else. Highly recommended.
