Huynh Thuy Le ancient house is an attraction associated with the development history of Dong Thap land. Built in 1895 in a busy trading area along the Sa Dec River, the house has undergone restoration and become a harmonious combination of Eastern and Western architecture. In particular, this coordinate is also associated with the cross-border love story of Mr. Huynh Thuy Le and French female writer - Marguerite Duras. This 3-room house has a total area of 258m2 with a massive façade like a French villa and Chinese-style interior space. In particular, the roof, thick brick walls, floral tiles, arched doors, gold-lacquered interiors and Renaissance carvings are the features of this more than 100-year-old house. Up to now, Huynh Thuy Le ancient house still retains its ancient beauty from the 20th century.
