Little Faifo Restaurant

My wife and I visited twice recently during our stay on Marco. As usual we preferred to eat in the bar area. You meet interesting people that way. This is more of an upscale dive bar. The bar itself is interesting and ornate and was shipped here from Chicago (where the owners are from). We felt like we were the only non-locals in the bar. The people around us were all very friendly and easy to talk with. Cocktails and beers were well served. Our waitress Lindsay was great. On our first visit we split a rack of ribs. I asked Lindsay for a knife and she said we won t need one. She was right. The most tender ribs we ever had. On our second visit we had grilled and fried shrimp. They were just a little better than average. The bar area also had live entertainment at 7 PM which was pretty good on both visits. I cannot comment on the dining room or outside seating but the bar area gets a solid 5 in my book.

We love little bar for the atmosphere and the stone crab claws. The food is a,ways very good and the staff so congenial. You do end up with a much larger bill than the trappings of the restaurant would indicate.
