I absolutely loved this place. When I arrived my name was written on the chalk board outside saying "welcome home" (and all guests for the night)
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even booked a private bus/van for the next leg of my trip to Da Nang, and the ride picked me up right there. I met a great couple from France In the lobby and we had an awesome conversation.
I got the large bedroom by luck, which has a window that looks down on the courtyard, and has a small table and 2 chair balcony just outside my door in the hallway.
There were also 2 friendly pups that always seem to be guarding the door :)
The main reason I chose this location originally, having never been to Hue, was that it was walking distance from the Citadel. There is a great Pho restaurant right at the end of the street, and walking to see the palace took literally 10 minutes.
One of the unexpected great things I encountered was that I had limited time on the wake-up day and check out because I wanted to see the Citadel as much as possible, but it was a HOT humid day and I wanted to be able to take a shower before my trip back to Da Nang. The front desk staff told me that there was a shower downstairs I could use for that purpose. I was able to check out, leave my backpack downstairs in the lobby area, go eat and see the sites, and then return and shower before my ride to Da Nang. That was as good as having lounge access at the airport :D
I can t wait to go back and visit again!

Stayed one night at La Robinet, it was lovely. Greeting by some cute puppies in the courtyard (always a bonus), room and bathroom were nice and clean.
Points for location - so close to the Citadel, we walked in at about 7:30am to see everything before it got hot (recommended) and it took less than 10min to walk to the front entrance.
Staff were delightful and very helpful and hospitable. Definitely would’ve stayed longer had time permitted.
