Cham Village of Chau Phong

Cham Village of Chau Phong is located in Chau Phong commune, only about 3km from Chau Doc city center. Here, the traditional culture of the Cham people is still preserved. Traditional brocade weaving still exists along with the custom of living on stilts. People here follow the Islamic faith with their own customs and culture. The specialty to try here is "cơm nị cà púa". "Cơm nị" is rice that will be cooked with milk accompanied by raisins. "Cà púa" is a dish from traditional beef ingredients that has coconut milk, ginger and wine, curry, peanuts and onions.
