Hon Ba is the third largest of the 16 different large and small islands of the Con Dao archipelago. Here, you can easily find beautiful beaches, diverse mangrove ecosystems, and many rare species of flora and fauna. Coming to Con Dao by water, you will stop at Ben Dam port and can see this island right away.
Hon Ba is a place to visit primeval forest tourism combined with marine ecology, operated by Con Dao National Park Tourism Center, with a visit time of about 4-5 hours, including the main activities:
- Climbing activities, enjoying nature scenery.
- Wildlife observation.
- Swimming, swimming, diving to see corals.
- Mangrove exploration experience.
Hon Ba is only about 20m from the big island of Con Son, there is a small creek, you can walk through it when the tide is low, but the water is very deep when the tide is high and the flow is dangerous, so it is called Throat Dam or Cua Tu.
Hon Ba's forest resources are very diverse and rich, with many types of precious wood and many rare animals such as long-tailed monkeys, Con Dao black squirrels, wild boars, iguanas and wild birds.

Great place to relax, we were lucky to come off season. Almost nobody outside. Peaceful atmosphere comparing with top season crowded place.
