Khau Pha Pass

Khau Ha Pass or Cao Pha Pass is a pass on Highway 32 in Cao Pha commune, Mu Cang Chai district on the border with Van Chan district. Those who have loved the Northwest land and are passionate about conquering probably want to once cross Khau Pha pass to explore the majestic beauty of mountains and forests, mixed with the poetic features of villages imbued with highland culture. Khau Pha Pass is famous as a winding pass with craggy sleeve bends with steep cliffs. In the ethnic language, this peak means "Horn of the Sky" - the mountain horn rises to the sky, all year round the fog always covers the top of the pass. Conquering this pass, you can admire the winding mountain passes between the pristine old-growth forests and terraced fields of the H'Mong, Thai ethnic groups. Khau Pha Pass along with Pha Din Pass, O Quy Ho Pass, Ma Pì Leng Pass is famous as the "four great passes" of Vietnam.
