Dam Nai

Dam Nai, Tri Thuy, about 10 km from Phan Rang-Thap Cham city, appears like a peaceful natural picture among the mountains and hills. This saltwater lagoon is located next to Ninh Chu Bridge and has a natural area of about 12,000 hectares with water reserves of up to 24 million m³. It is home to about 320 species of aquatic animals and many plant species, contributing to regulating flooding and balancing Ninh Thuan's groundwater resources. Dam Nai is likened to the "green lung" of the region, playing an important role in preserving the ecosystem. Since 2015, conservation programs such as planting fish trees, mangroves and propagating proper fishing have helped to restore and bring high economic value to the people here.
