Big Buddha Temple

An Giang Big Buddha Temple is an ancient temple with an age of more than 200 years. This is both a sacred Buddhist building and a sightseeing and pilgrimage destination for visitors from far and near in the Forbidden Mountain tourist area. On the temple grounds, a 1.8 m high Buddha statue is located on the top of Forbidden Mountain. Maitreya Buddha statue with an endemic gentle smile, is considered the new wonder of Forbidden Mountain. The back is leaning against the green patches of the ancient forest, the face facing Thuy Liem Lake in four green seasons is as clear as a mirror of the sky, opposite is the majestic Van Linh Old House, all as embellishing this monumental statue of beauty in the eyes of people and religious people. To reach the top of the mountain to visit the Maitreya Buddha, in addition to the overland route, you can take a cable car from the foot of the mountain to the station not far from the Big Buddha temple.
