Trieu Son Dong Village Market

Every early morning, a corner of the Huong River is bustling with the sounds of buying and selling and exchanging of a country market. The village market of Trieu Son Dong is often affectionately known as Chom Hum market. That name was born because here the mothers and saleswomen all squatted down, or on low chairs, everything was laid out in front of them for passers-by to buy. Sellers and buyers are all people in the village, the goods are familiar agricultural products: fish, shrimp, bundles of vegetables, chili fruits or utensils for daily needs.
