I stayed in December and booked the three bedroom quite.
- The pool and private beach area were exceptional, surpassing many public beaches in the area.
- The location, although a bit far from town, was compensated by cheap taxi rides (we used Grab). The proximity to the airport was convenient, and there was a night market across the hotel for food and to get a massage if you didn t want to go in to town.
- The front desk staff was fantastic, going above and beyond to assist us when my brother left his laptop at the airport. Their support was invaluable and greatly appreciated.
- Considering the price we paid, the hotel offered good value for the stay.
Room and Overall Experience:
- The pool and private beach were highlights, clean and spacious.
- The breakfast selection stood out as the best throughout our Vietnam trip.
While the Three-Bedroom Executive Suite was suitable for families, it fell short of the expectations set by the promotional pictures.
- The sofa in the suite lacked a modern feel, and the kitchen was ill-equipped, making it less functional than anticipated.
- The provided slippers and robes were subpar, not meeting the standards expected from a 5-star hotel
Conclusion:
Best Western Premier Phu Quoc offers a great stay for the price, with outstanding support from the front desk. However, it falls short in meeting all the expectations associated with a 5-star hotel. Despite some minor drawbacks, we would definitely consider staying at Best Western Premier again, especially for a family trip. The private beach alone makes it worthwhile for a relaxing break between city travels in Vietnam. However, if proximity to town is a priority, it might not be the ideal choice.
