Enter an unlimited culinary journey at AKUNA, when MICHELIN Star Chef Sam Aisbett breaks the usual rules of fine dining, inspired by Vietnam's rich culinary landscape. AKUNA means "flowing water". From the philosophy of non-stop flow of water, each design in the 50-seat space is meticulously arranged and linked to create a sense of timelessness. The open kitchen area was chosen as the focal point of the restaurant's space, where customers enjoyed the creative process of Sam and his team. From the rippling ceiling glittering blue and silver like water, the handmade chandelier in the shape of water waves, to artworks from Australian artist Tony Wilson, AKUNA's space is like an artistic flow throughout for diners. The counter area is beautifully crafted from an ancient tree that has been immersed in water for centuries, allowing diners to admire the creative process up close, chatting with Sam and his colleagues.
