COUNTDOWN 2024 HO CHI MINH CITY
From 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2024, fireworks will be fired at 2 points, namely the area at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem tunnel, Thu Duc City) and Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11).
Along with the fireworks, there is a countdown program at the moment of transition between the old year and the new year (Countdown) of the New Year 2024 held on the night of December 31 at President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue pedestrian street (District 1).
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City will organize art performances in Thu Duc City and districts: 12, Tan Phu, Binh Tan, Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Nha Be, Can Gio for 2 nights respectively (31.12.2023 and 01.01.2024) and many other cultural and artistic activities will take place in export processing zones, industrial parks, dormitories, etc. in the city.
Ho Chi Minh City will also organize sports activities to welcome 2024, including events such as the X Ho Chi Minh City Marathon in 2024 "HCMC Marathon 2024"; Ho Chi Minh City martial arts festival in the area in front of the City Theater (District 1); the 2024 New Year's Eve movement bicycle race on Mai Chi Tho street (from Dong Van Cong intersection to the intersection in front of the old toll booth of the Saigon River Tunnel) in Sala urban area (Thu Duc City).
