Located on the 2nd floor of Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel, the restaurant named ST25 by KOTO has just officially opened in mid-December, creating attention in the community of Vietnamese food lovers both domestically and internationally. As a result of the collaboration between Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel and KOTO social enterprise, the restaurant is not only a place to contribute to promoting Vietnamese cuisine to the world, but also contribute to creating a positive social impact through each meal.
Entering the ST25 by KOTO space, diners will immediately be attracted by the paintings imbued with Vietnamese culture decorated around the restaurant. The cocktail bar with two permanent bartenders is ready to bring special drinks. In addition, one of the main highlights that impresses is the open kitchen counters, where diners can directly watch the chefs prepare the ingredients for the upcoming dish.
With a signature menu co-created by two top chefs – Bao La and Heath Gordon, ST25 by KOTO offers contemporary Vietnamese cuisine, meticulously prepared with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Fried rice, grapefruit salad with crab meat, lobster with green pepper sauce, beef tenderloin, fried chicken with KOTO sauce, and roasted pork dumplings, are a few of the outstanding options that diners should not miss when visiting ST25 by KOTO.
The restaurant has a capacity of 140 guests and aims to welcome 100 diners per day. The name expresses the honor of Vietnam's famous ST25 rice variety, which excellently won the title of the World's Best Rice in 2019, representing the quintessence of national culture.
ST25 by KOTO is operated by a team of KOTO alumni - trained by leading culinary experts in hospitality operations, thereby bringing exquisite Vietnamese culinary experiences and supporting donations to disadvantaged youth in Vietnam.
