Online check-in is applicable for domestic and international flights operated by Vietnam Airlines Group including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vasco.
Direction online check-in guide
Passengers with valid tickets and confirmed seats on the flight can check-in by accessing the Check-In section on the homepage www.vietnamairlines.com or mobile application. The procedure steps are as follows:
Step 1: Enter the required information including:
- Reservation number or frequent flyer card number or e-ticket number;
- The passenger's last name;
- Departure point.
Step 2: Check the itinerary information;
Step 3: Enter passport information (for itineraries whose destinations require passport information);
Step 4: Choose your seat on the flight;
Step 5: Get your boarding pass with one of the forms below:
- Print your boarding pass on A4 paper;
- Receive the card by email or save it to your mobile phone.
Check-in time online
Passengers check in online for their flight from 24 hours to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.
At the airport
For domestic flights, passengers should note:
- If you are not carrying checked baggage, you can go directly to the screening security area.
- If checked baggage is available, passengers should proceed to the baggage drop counter or airport check-in counter to check in their baggage.
For international flights, whether checked baggage is available or not, passengers present their boarding passes and assortments
Other identification documents at the airport check-in counter. Please arrive at the check-in counter before closing time.
Some issues to note when checking in online
Online check-in for Vietnam Airlines flights is accepted at some domestic and international airports.
The following passengers choose another form of check-in, instead of online check-in (due to flight operation requirements):
- Passengers requiring special services (except for special meal service).
- Passengers travelling with infants under 02 years old.
- Passengers travelling on flights operated by other airlines (except Vietnam Airlines Group airlines including Vasco and Pacific Airlines).
- Each online check-in can only be done for a maximum of 9 passengers in the same booking. If there are more than 9 passengers in a booking, please check in online multiple times for all passengers in your booking.
- If passengers have checked in to pre-select their seats via Online Check-In, passengers can actively remove check-in and change their flight plans under
- If there are multiple different e-tickets for the same itinerary in the same booking, please check in at the airport.
