Trieu Institute is located on the bustling Mac Thi Buoi street, in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. This place shines with the entrance with a statue of two blue elephants under a bright red dome. The name originated from the female general Trieu Thi Trinh (popularly called Ba Trieu).
Ms. Trieu, a heroine in the history of Vietnam, has become a great inspiration for the Gin Lady Trieu wine brand. With her heroic appearance, perseverance and unyielding determination, Ms. Zhao led the uprising against the Wu invaders in the II-III centuries, a great contribution to the defense of national independence.
With materials entirely from Vietnam and a story of national spirit drawn together to create a local brand, the design office was strongly inspired to convey that story and pride on behalf of the investor.
The space at The Trieu Institute is not only a physical space, but also a vivid picture, telling the profound story of Mrs. Trieu and the wonderful taste of Lady Trieu Gin. Right from the door, you will encounter the Sapa Mountains on the purple wall, creating a mysterious and calm feeling.
The decoration of clouds and sky is blended, like the light breath of Da Lat, making the atmosphere delicate and close. Green gardens, like the Mekong Delta, extend from one corner, creating an interaction between nature and architecture. The twinkling chandeliers stretch across the ceiling like stars, reflecting the shimmering and exhilarating light of Hoi An. All these elements combine to create a unique space where it is not only a taste, but also an experience to enjoy the diversity and richness of Vietnamese culture.
Coming to The Trieu Institute, you will be introduced by head bartender Duong to the unique cocktails in the Story Signature Cocktail, which are not easy to find in other places. Please call Naked Battle, inspired by Mrs. Trieu's final battle. It's a milk punch cocktail with wild pepper and peanut syrup, a hint of sweet pepper to garnish.
Besides, the Yi Qiao General, Cumquat Gin Fizz, Lady Trieu... on the background of hand-distilled gin produced by The Trieu Institute itself also bring an interesting experience.
