Fire
Opened less than 1 year, "Fire" is one of the most kept "secrets" of Thao Dien. Customers will be served a killer list ranging from easy-to-drink to organic wines. Meats and cold cuts are prepared at home and sourdoughs (a bread made from natural yeast) are baked on site, served with French Tomme cheese.
Dishes like spring rolls and rolls are the perfect drink, while potato pasta with uni XO sauce is really a "flavor bomb" on the plate.
The founders of Fire are Japanese mixologists with 15 years' experience and a Japanese-Filipino chef who now lives in Vietnam. Quite modestly, the waiters here always say "We are just a small restaurant" and it is really lovely.
At Fire, snacks cost from 150,000 VND; Each serving is from 300,000 VND.

Aalto
The Mediterranean-inspired Western restaurant was founded by Jimmy Garside, a Mancunian and longtime Sydney chef.
The menu demonstrates the chef's way of talking - straight and to the point, presenting ingredients that do not embellish. For example, you will clearly read "anchovies", "bell peppers", "almonds" or "sausages", "plums". The "Blood cake" alone is described as poetically as you'll see: a plate of tempting black pudding topped with squid and salsa verde sauce.
Aalto: Small portion from 110,000 VND; mostly from 390,000 VND.
Address: 38 Tran Ngoc Dien, Thao Dien, Ho Chi Minh City

Sono
The best seating at Sono is the location facing the open kitchen, where international dishes with a Vietnamese feel are created. The secret of Iberico pork is the combination of modern dishes and classic Vietnamese betel leaf rolls with grilled pork, dipped in fish sauce. Surely just looking at it will make you want to call it immediately.
Or, a third of the duck breast paired with pickled green papaya pieces, which look simple but wrapped in perfect foil will give the duck meat the perfect juicy taste. The name Sono itself is already a unique echo of music. Located at the end of a densely populated street in Thao Dien, Sono will be a place that you cannot miss.
Sono: Price of dishes from 289,000 VND.

ASMR
ASMR stands for "Autonomous sensory meridian response." This phrase refers to the shivering response in the head or neck after receiving certain stimuli such as soothing sounds or cyclic repetitive sounds.
Just hearing the name is already exciting, right? This newly opened minimalist bar suggests that the initials of ASMR seem like a way to describe an extremely special and classic cocktail list. This is where you'll want to chat with the friendly staff behind the bar to get suggestions on the right drink.
ASMR: Cocktail price from 220,000 VND.
