Nam Pho village is located in Phu Thuong commune, Phu Vang district, nearly 6 km from Hue city. The village has been famous for its cuisine since the 16th century, which is associated with the specialty "South Prussian soup". In addition to banh soup, this place is also known for many typical rustic dishes of Hue.
Rice flour soup
South Prussian soup cakes are famous for centuries at home as well as abroad. The soup cake has a thick sauce, soft, flexible yarn, processed with rice flour and tapioca flour. Thick dough fibers, about 3 fingers long, do not stick, when ripe will rise. The mixture of shrimp and meat is also squeezed by hand into balls, put in a pot of boiling broth. Mini package rolls
South Prussian instant rolls are made from fresh pork, filtered out of fat, then ground. Shrimp lice cake
Banh nam, also known as rice cake, has a delicious taste, soft and fluffy dough. Raw materials pure rice flour, filling made of shrimp, meat. The rice flour is put in a saucepan, stirred until the dough is slightly compared, the shrimp meat is minced, seasoned and stir-fried. When wrapping a small amount of flour, spread thinly, spread evenly on dong leaves, sweep the shrimp filling on top and then wrap the cake into a rectangle. Little ram glutinous cake

The cake also adorns the green color of onions and the red color of shrimp lice. The cake is dipped with medium-sweet fish sauce, both crispy and pliable. When eating, diners will feel the uniqueness when the two flavors blend.
