TomuraLee Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition entitled "Private Realm" of artist Bui Tien - a young female painter who has created for herself a very unique painting style, associated with the cultural identity of the Vietnamese nation but also imbued with a personal, liberal and unique imprint.
"Fake into legs, the moon at the bottom of the water, see the shadow and see the figure, fake the real, fake the real, fake the real, the real is unpredictable."
(Excerpt from "The Moon at the Bottom of the Well")
The real, mysterious world is a "private realm", dreamy, stirring up the quiet life of the female painter. Sometimes people need a vague, illusory beauty to know that they are still alive, and long to escape from the limitations of human life.
Because of that beauty, Bui Tien arranged her own world, rediscovering her identity and personal identity as well as the meaning of her existence. Bui Tien's "Private Realm" is what is manifested in the subconscious, a strong urge for a brilliant spiritual world in which we are "ready to soak blood into our clothes to keep the brilliance that exists in faith" - It is a fantasy world, but the desire to immerse ourselves in that world is real.
And... Bui Tien has drawn a "Private Realm" for herself.
