Tết Trung Thu, or the Mid-Autumn Festival, is a vibrant and significant traditional celebration in Vietnamese culture. Held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, this festival is a cherished time for families to reunite and share joy and love. Traditionally, children looked forward to playing with lanterns and paper masks, but these beloved toys are now fading due to the popularity of modern plastic toys and digital games.
🏮 In our effort to preserve and celebrate these traditional values and crafts, "Hanoi and Around with Thanh" is excited to partner with artist Nguyen Van Thach to offer a lantern and paper mask-making workshop. This workshop invites participants to enjoy the art of traditional craft while reliving the nostalgic joys of childhood 🎭.
