Weather
Kon Tum features monsoon tropics, divided into two distinct seasons, the rainy season and the dry season. To enjoy the beauty of Kon Tum, you should travel in the dry season starting from November to April next year. In November and December, wild sunflowers cover the area in yellow. In January, rubbers begin to lose their foliage. March is when the coffee flowers bloom. This is also the time of the traditional festivals of the Central Highlands.
Transport
There are many coaches running straight to Kon Tum from the big cities every day. The total time to travel from Hanoi is about 25 hours, from Ho Chi Minh City is 12 hours and from Da Nang is 8 hours.
Kon Tum doesn’t have its own airport yet, so if you want to come here by plane, you have to land at Pleiku Airport and take a taxi or bus to Kon Tum.
