Scenery of Tam Chuc Pagoda

Tam Chuc is the largest pagoda in Vietnam, located in Ba Sao town and Kha Phong commune, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province. The pagoda is about 60 km from the center of Hanoi. To move from the parking lot to the temple, visitors can choose to go by boat or tram. The boat has a ticket price of 200,000 VND/person, the tram costs 90,000 VND/person. If traveling by boat, visitors can enjoy the majestic scenery of the mountains and visit Tam Chuc communal house. The boat journey is about 50 minutes. If you visit from 16:30 to 18:30, you can enjoy tea and watch the sunset. Tam Chuc communal house worships Dinh Tien Emperor, queen of the Dinh dynasty: Duong Thi Nguyet and the god Bach Ma. According to legend, in the past during the war to suppress the rebellion of 12 envoys, Dinh Bo Linh came here to recruit soldiers and horses. When he won the battle and became emperor, the king ordered a temple to be built here. Tam Chuc communal house is connected to Tam Chuc Pagoda by a bridge across Luc Ngan Lake. After the boat docks, visitors will pass through works such as Tam Quan Gate, Pillar Garden, Quan Am Palace, Phap Chu Palace, Tam The Palace and Pearl Pagoda. The chandelier garden is the restored chandelier like the national treasure of Nhat Tru pagoda, the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh. Currently, there are 32 glass columns 13.5 m high, about 2 m wide, weighing about 200 tons. The first temple visitors visit is the Quan Am Palace. Here there is a monolithic bronze statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva weighing 100 tons. The inner walls of the temples at Tam Chuc are built with stone reliefs depicting the deeds of the Buddha. The Tam The Hall is 39 m high and 5,400 m2 wide, enough for 5,000 Buddhists to worship at the same time. In the hall, there are 3 bronze Buddha statues symbolizing "Past, present, future".
