My group of 4 golfers went in early January 2017. Nice clubhouse and a decent golfer s lunch terrace. Service was efficient and quick. Strong winds made this, actually not so difficult golf course a real challenge. It is rather undulating and features several bunkers and bushes where the wrong shots can easily land you there. When we were there, the greens were extremely patchy obviously under repair. We played two days and had two very different qualities of caddies. The first lot was brilliant, the second lot were very new. It is understandable as the course is rather new. With only one 18 hole course, it is difficult to consider taking a 2-3 hour drive from Ho Chi Minh and stay to play for 3 or 4 days. For foreign visitors with little time, it is actually not worth the while unless the casino is the key alternative entertainment. I think you can find better options in Hua Hin for a 3-4 days golf where there are several golf courses to choose from than Ho Tram. If you are keen on golf in Vietnam, just stick to Ho Chi Minh where you have 3 or 4 golf courses to choose from. It s just more practical in terms of travel time. Will I go back? NO.
