This is by far the best and most beautiful beach on this island. We tried others but as it was mentioned before they are not clean and maintained.
We were able to use the beach( well part of it) that doesn t belong to some of the reaorts. It is not crowded as you would expect.
To get to Khem Beach from Duong city, a grab will cost around or a bit over 300k one way. We stayed near the night market and the taxi cost us 340k.
But we only took a taxi for one day, as we found a korean shuttle bus called Peaktime( acros the Kingkong market; 141A Đường Trần Hưng Đạo, Dương Tơ, Phú Quốc, Kiên Giang) that has a stop minutes away from the beach which is either Premier Residence resort or New World resort. The ticket cost 20,000 VND per person one way. Some buses have the last stop at the cable car as well.
An important thing to mention is that this shuttle bus is apparently only for koreans, but we went and used it anyway. You don t need to buy a ticket from their office, the bus timetables are displayed outside, just make sure you are getting in the right bus( they are numbered) and pay the ticket when the bus driver comes to you. I saw that they have buses towards other attraction points, in the south and north of the island.
I attached in the photos their current bus timetables.

Khem Beach is a stunning beach and as others have mentioned some of it is private. The only bit we couldn’t go on was in front of JW Marriott, the guard stopped us! We actually walked right to the end of the beach to a shack (yes there was more rubbish on that bit of the beach as you walk there) but in front of the shack it was tidy. They serve food & drinks at a very reasonable prices.
We also took the PeakTime bus (we are not Korean) and the cost was 50,000 VND per person each way, so much cheaper than a taxi/grab taxi. We got an updated timetable from a PeakTime shop. The drivers spoke good English to ask where you were going & if you were on the right bus! You would honestly be better using this bus to go to the north & south of the island including the cable car than getting a taxi.
