Phu Yen Homestay Fish Village is located in Lo Village, Phu Yen - an idyllic coastal fishing village imprinted with the imprint of time. This place used to be famous for its three traditional professions: making rice paper, fish and fish sauce. However, due to the influence of urbanization, many people have left their villages to live in the city, making craft villages and local culture gradually disappear.
Inspired by traditional values and the desire to preserve the memory of the coastal fishing village, Lang Mam Homestay was built on the foundation of 3 ancient garden houses from before 1973. Keeping the traditional Vietnamese architecture, the homestay offers a rustic and peaceful space with green patches from sea eagle trees, forest longan trees and coconut trees typical of the Central coast.
The special highlight of the Homestay Fish Village is the remaining rudimentary tools such as jars, pots, and rollers - proving the golden age of the handmade fish sauce village. These artifacts are not only decorations but also reminders of cultural and traditional values that need to be preserved and promoted.
With a design in harmony with nature, Lang Mam Homestay owns a green and peaceful living space. The large campus with many trees, lotus ponds, and aquariums creates a beautiful natural picture. There are only 9 rooms, homestays ensure privacy and quietness for each customer. Surrounded by greenery, lotus ponds, aquariums, and flower gardens that bloom all year round – a scene that you can only find in dreams.
