Binh Huong, a beautiful hiking route during the burning grass season

Translated by Bing
Besides the majestic scenery of thousands of reeds in Binh Lieu, Binh Huong hill (Quang Ninh) burning grass season is also an equally beautiful virtual living coordinate.

Binh Huong is a mountain range located in Vang Danh Ward, in Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province. Binh Huong is 10 km from Uong Bi center, 50 km from Ha Long city and 135 km from Hanoi capital. The mountain range has an elevation of 467 m, extending 3 km.

With pristine mountainous terrain, fresh climate mixed with cool pine trees, Binh Huong is also considered by some tourists as "miniature Dalat". The immense hills beneath the charred grass in Binh Huong are a favorite check-in place for young people in Quang Ninh as well as tourists far and near.

You can walk the Three Golden Path, past the top of the Citadel after the Three Golden Pagoda. The distance is about 4 km, the climb takes about 1 and a half hours, not too far, while walking while breathing the air, enjoying the pristine mountain scenery along the road. The second way is to ride a motorbike to Vang Danh way, through the railway of Lán Thap bridge about 100 m in the direction of Dong Chanh will meet a sign that says: "Entrance to Binh Huong peak". The motorbike ride only takes about 20 minutes. The straight ascent connects the copper head, without dangerous bends. But if you are unsure of your steering wheel, you should choose to walk for safety.

At each time of the year, Binh Huong peak appears with a separate picture. At the end of autumn, when the green grass turns yellow, it is the ideal time to admire a charming and poetic corner of Quang Ninh.

Standing on the top of the hill, visitors can easily overlook the horizon, where there are mountains undulating in the distance. The endless layers of burnt grass add to the wildness and spaciousness of a hilly area. All create a peaceful, peaceful and free scenery.

The pale yellow color of the field blends with the soft sunshine of the sunrises when the sun has just come out. The twilight time makes the surrounding space tinged with romance. On clear days, with few clouds, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the peaceful Yen Trung Lake below, Ha Long Bay, Bach Dang River or Uong Bi city.

If you're going for a day, just bring food and water. If you stay overnight, you need to prepare camping supplies and grilling items such as grills, meat, sausages, eggs, vegetables and drinks...  Tent rental price is from 250,000 - 700,000 VND per day (depending on the capacity of the tent). Currently, there is a service selling grilled chicken at VND 300,000 per head and rice balls at VND 10,000 per serving.
