Tan Hoa is a low-lying commune of Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province, this land is nestled between overlapping limestone mountains and low on the green side of corn fields and rice fields.
The road to Tan Hoa winds at the foot of the mountain, on 2 sides are wooden houses with wild beauty with the idyllic and gentle beauty of the quiet countryside. Along with that is the Tu Lan valley with long grasses, embellished by the soft Rao Nan river like a watercolor painting.
Coming to Tan Hoa, visitors can not only see the wild beauty of a peaceful village but also explore the Tu Lan cave system consisting of 10 different caves with a beautiful stalactite system that shimmers and fantasies.
As a land with pristine natural scenery, with the magnificent Tu Lan cave arc, Tan Hoa is becoming an ideal destination for tourists, especially international visitors.
Also here, in early 2016, a film crew from the world film capital Hollywood made some important scenes for the blockbuster movie "Kong: Skull Island". In 2018, director Victor Vu also chose Tan Hoa for the scenes of the movie "The Immortal". Tan Hoa is currently developing according to the model of a tourism village that adapts to the weather, providing a variety of experiences for tourism from homestays, farming experiences, dining at homestays, souvenir stalls and other diverse services for tourists.

From participating in tourism activities, Tan Hoa people gradually master the services they provide to tourists. Tourism products in Tan Hoa such as: exploring the Tu Lan cave system, off-road driving to explore ironwood, cycling to explore corn fields and many other services are also gradually diversified to attract tourists.
As a tourist village that adapts to the weather, many people in Tan Hoa have coordinated with tourism companies to build homestays according to the floating house model. When a flood occurs in Tan Hoa, the homestay will emerge so that visitors can live normally. This is an opportunity for visitors to experience the local life on the floating house, admiring the beautiful natural landscape that can only be seen on flood days.
Tan Hoa is the only village in Vietnam selected by UNWTO in the list of 260 villages from 60 countries participating in the 2023 award.
