This hotel is right in the middle of the old quarter. Great if you want to go to the market, bars and restaurants. Being of the slightly older travelers, we wished we d stayed a bit further out as the constant traffic of Hanoi old quarter we found rather aggravating. The rooms are fine though the showers were of an awkward shape. What makes this hotel worthy of my 4 stars is the kindness, help and attention of the staff. The people on reception helped us immensely, we stayed there 4 times between going on different trips, they looked after our luggage whilst away. Every time we returned, we were welcomed back with tea by the lovely bell boy. We left to come home early in the morning and, unasked for, they packed is up a breakfast. They made it a memorable stay
