Đây là trải nghiệm 1 - 2 giờ ở một phần của thành phố mà bạn có thể không phải lúc nào cũng thấy.

If you have some extra time to kill while you re in Hanoi - the silk village is a nice trip. It s not too far away and the drive is a scenic one of the city. I would recommend that you spend 2 hours there. You probably won t need more time than that. There are no real restaurants there, however one cafe for drinks. I d recommend that if you re keen to know more about the silk village, try and get hold of a tour guide, there are no information centres or plaques up explaining anything (I may have missed them though ). Everyone is relatively chilled, you can walk straight into the factories with beautiful old looms still in use. You may even be lucky and see them in use. The silk products are stunning , however the shops become repetitive and some products say 100% silk and then when you ask, the shop assistant will tell you that it s actually not 100%. There is a stunning shop at the top of the street with silk clothing and scarves that are to die for so definitely take your time and shop around. You can buy various types of silk as well, and you can buy it in meters. The prices aren t too bad, you re looking at $10-$20 a scarf and a bit more for a silk shirt. There is a lovely garden and shrine there as well so have a look at that is well. I think that if you have the time, it s a nice place to visit.
