Stayed here twice this month... once for 2 nights prior to a Ha long bay cruise and then for another night on return.
The hotel kept our bags so we only had to take an overnight bag to Halong.
The staff definitely make this hotel. They are really friendly and helpful
The rooms are clean and comfortable although our shower drain was blocked on our first stay and the bathroom would completely flood everytime you had a shower.

Breakfast was good, a buffet plus they would make fresh omelettes etc which were good. Lots of nice fresh fruit and bread.

Hotel is conveniently located in the old town just off Silk Road.

Hotel arranged airport pick up which I waited 30 minutes for - not ideal in the heat after a long flight from Australia! It would be good if they were more clear on their instructions for pick up. I was waiting at the ‘Arrival pick up paging board’ area for 30 minutes which seemed to be where everyone else was getting picked up from! But despite a call to the hotel my driver was apparently waiting elsewhere.

Anyway, generally a very good stay and excellent value for money.
